Singer Chris Brown Arrested For Pointing A Gun At Woman

"ahref="http//US singer Chris Brown has been arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon after a woman told police he had threatened her with a gun.

Beauty queen Baylee Curran told the LA Times Mr Brown had pointed the gun at her face after she had been admiring his friend's jewellery.

Mr Brown came out of his home after a stand-off with police on Tuesday.

The singer has several convictions for violence, including a 2009 assault on his then girlfriend, pop star Rihanna.

Police went to Mr Brown's home following the emergency call early on Tuesday from Ms Curran, who by that time had left the property.

Ms Curran told the LA Times that she and a friend had gone to Mr Brown's house with a business associate on Monday evening.

She said she had been admiring the diamond necklace of a man who had been showing off his jewellery when the man got angry and told her to back away.

That is when she says Mr Brown pulled out a gun, pointed it at her face and told her to get out.

"If somebody put a gun to your head, what would you do? Call the police," Ms Curran said on her Instagram account, AFP news agency reported.

Once at Mr Brown's sprawling mansion, police officers were allegedly denied entry and had to wait for a judge to approve a search warrant before going inside to search for a weapon.

It wasn't until Mr Brown's lawyer arrived that the singer eventually emerged.

Police said about half a dozen people had been escorted out of the residence and would be interviewed.

During the stand-off, Mr Brown posted videos online accusing the police of harassment.

"When you get the warrant for whatever you need to do, you're going to walk right up in here and you're going to see nothing, you idiots," he said in one Instagramvideo, posted to 30m followers.

In another, Mr Brown also voiced support for the Black Lives Matter movement against police brutality, saying: "You're all the worst gang in the world, the police.">

Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg hasupdated his Facebook followers on his trip to Nigeria.

He writes that it's his first trip to sub-Saharan Africa and he'll be "learning about the startup ecosystem in Nigeria. 

"The energy here is amazing and I'm excited to learn as much as I can.

"Our first stop is the Co-creation Hub Nigeria (CcHUB) in Yaba. 

"I got to talk to kids at a summer coding camp and entrepreneurs who come to CcHub to build and launch their apps.">

WOW! Nigeria's First Electric Light Rail (Photos)

The Calabar electric light rail is finally ready for inauguration. Built by Ponet TFZE, the train with a cruising speed of about 40 kilometres per hour, has 12 cars – 10 passenger and two equipment cars.

The multi-billion Naira Calabar Light rail project, the first in Nigeria, would soon be inaugurated by President Muhammadu Buhari.

The 12-car monorail system, when fully operational, would use an Intamin P8 electric powered passenger shuttle train to convey passengers from Tinapa Resort, across Lake Tinapa to Calabar International Conference Centre (CICC).

The monorail would allow access to Studio Tinapa, Tinapa Shopping Centre and Tinapa waterpark as well as provide a quick alternative access to Summit Hills.

Each car is primed for seven to eight passengers all seated, while the train’s length, width and height are approximately 38,1.95 and 2.2 metres, respectively.

Mr Mba Mba, the station’s Electrical Engineer, said the light rail project was completed in December last year.

“Right now, the Calabar Monorail is ready for use pending inauguration by appropriate authorities.
“We have test-run the system and confirmed its readiness. Gov. Ben Ayade was here with his team to see for himself">

Wizkid To Join Davido At Sony Music Global

The singer, according to a source who spoke withThenet.ng, will announce the deal in a few days as everything has been finalized.

The source said:

Wizkids new deal with Sony is a done deal, the News should be out couple of days.

The source continued that when the deal is finally official, Wizkid and Davido, will be working in the same building.

Wizkid is going to be in the same building as Davido at Sony Musics New York office

OLIJAY DECLARES DATE OF TRACK RELEASE

   After a lot of several twitter, Facebook and Instagram trends about the upcoming track of the Tycoon of Elite Nation, Olijay titles the track General Jay which was produced/mixed/mastered and directed by Hadwon of Dee spring studio... According to the EN PRESS the track was recorded after Olijay won the first stage of the Rap Battle in Ikeja Lagos... A lot have been said about OLIJAY's upcoming track but no confirmations have been made not until this moment when Olijay himself declared to the press that his debut single would be released 12:00pm  on the 9th of September 2016...
